    this is by far the best program i have used.  it requires the least amount of effort.  the idea is that it pays you for computing time.  no ads or annoying popups.  the payout rate depends upon the amount of processing time they use but it averages out to be about $.01/hour.  sounds minimal but if you have this running on your machine constantly, it ads up.  the referral program is only a one time referral bonus of $1 and does not have a tier system.

    this program has been very good to me.  it requires that you maintain active while running the bar and a clickthrough rate between 1/200 and 1/20.  they do offer a referral program and its pretty standard.  they also have implemented a pay by click program along with the surf bar.

    this is an adbar without popups and they usually pay straight up without hassle.  they update stats quite often and have a referral program too.
clickdough  $220.89
    i am not sure if clickdough still pays out but this total payout is the highest i have been payed by one of these programs and i have to put it up here for that sake.  they still have a site up and running but i have not been too active on this account lately.  with a payout like that, its worth keeping an eye on.
